The year 2024 commemorates the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Bretton Woods system, a cornerstone of the post-World War II global economic framework that has significantly influenced the development the global economy.
Under the circumstances, Tsinghua University's PBC School of Finance, in collaboration with the Reinventing Bretton Woods Committee (RBWC) and Academy of Contemporary China and World Studies (ACCWS), jointly host the "80 Years after Bretton Woods: Building an International Monetary and Financial System for All & 2024 Tsinghua PBCSF Global Finance Forum" from May 27 to 28, in Hangzhou, China.
The forum invites public officials, private sector professionals, and scholars worldwide to discuss the challenges faced by the current global economic and financial landscape, anticipates the outlook of a new international economic order, while offering China solution for global economic and financial governance.
Meanwhile, Tsinghua PBCSF Global Finance Forum will be jointly held at the parallel sessions in Hangzhou. Focusing on perspectives of “China and the World”, “Reform and Policies”, and “Academics and Practices”, the 2024 Tsinghua PBCSF Global Finance Forum will discuss major issues in economic and financial fields, and make suggestions for China's financial opening and global economic development.
