Since joining Alibaba Group in 2016, Dr. Cheng Xin has served as Senior Expert and Secretary-General of the Strategic Partnership Center at Aliresearch,  and Senior Expert at Alibaba Local Services Company. Prior to this, he was a senior researcher at McKinsey. Dr. Cheng has been keeping abreast of developments in the digital economy. He has participated in many expert consultancy activities on digital economic development planning organized by relevant ministries and commissions, and has been invited to policy discussions by the United Nations (UN) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF). His research results are quoted by People's Daily, CCTV and other prestigious media.
