Amelia currently leads the building of a global fintech platform at SC Ventures – the platform and catalyst for Standard Chartered to promote innovation, invest in disruptive financial technology and explore alternative business models Before joining SC Venture, Amelia had a broad range of banking experience across Corporate Banking, Markets and Investment Banking. Amelia was the Chief of Staff of the CEO of Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking (“CCIB”) and Global Head of Strategic Initiatives of Standard Chartered. She was a member of the Global CCIB Management Team. Prior to this, Amelia was the Global Head of CCIB Strategy, working with other senior executives at Standard Chartered to develop and execute CCIB’s strategy. This includes developing global strategy, implementing key business initiatives, as well as driving inorganic and innovation agenda. Prior to joining Standard Chartered, she worked at HSBC. Amelia holds an MBA from Insead. She is married with a daughter and three dogs.
