Dr. Xuan Tian is currently Associate Dean and Chair Professor of Finance at PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University. He serves as a deputy to the 14th National People's Congress. He is also a "Cheung Kong Scholar" Distinguished Professor, the President of National Institute of Financial Research at Tsinghua University. Before joining Tsinghua, He was a Professor of Finance with tenure at Kelley School of Business of Indiana University. Professor Tian is an award winning researcher in the areas of corporate finance and financial intermediation with special research interests on venture capital and corporate innovation. He has more than 50 academic papers published in leading academic journals including the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, and Review of Financial Studies.
