ZHAO Yulong, male, is currently the Secretary of the CPC Committee and President of the Insurance Association of China. He graduated with a PhD in Management and is an Honorary Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

Upon graduating with his doctoral degree in April 2000, he joined the national financial regulatory authority. In May 2010, he was appointed Member of the CPC Committee and Assistant Director General of the former Shenzhen Insurance Regulatory Bureau. Starting from January 2017, he held the position of Director General of the Finance and Accounting Department (Solvency Supervision Department) under the former China

Insurance Regulatory Commission. Prior to his current post, he served as Secretary of the CPC Committee and Director General of the Tianjin Regulatory Bureau of the National Financial Regulatory Administration, as well as Vice Chairman of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of the Standing Committee of Tianjin Municipal People's Congress.
