Ming XU is the professor and doctoral supervisor of School of International Finance Law, China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL). Concurrently he holds posts as the vice president of China Securities Law Research Association, the executive director of China Commercial Law Society, the member of Administrative Reexamination Committee of China Securities Regulatory Commission and the member of Listing Committee of Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE). He was former chairman of the board of Beijing Stock Exchange and National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ), the former president of China Securities Investor Services Center, and former executive vice-president of SSE. He obtained Ph.D. in Law (LL.D.) from China Renmin University in 1993.
