Ren Bin, male, born in 1968 in Bazhong, Sichuan, holds a postgraduate degree and majored in Engineering Mechanics at Tsinghua University. He currently serves as Chairman and General Manager of JOUAV, and Chairman of the Presidium of the Low-Altitude Economy Committee of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. He previously worked at the 29th Base of the General Armament Department of the People's Liberation Army, engaging in key project research. In 2010, he founded JOUAV. The flight control systems he developed have been applied to multiple key aviation products. The world's first vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) fixed-wing UAV series, JOUAV Dapeng, which he pioneered globally, has become one of the standard models for industrial UAVs.
He led the company to become the first domestic industrial UAV company listed on the stock market in 2021. Due to its pioneering contributions in the field of VTOL fixed-wing UAVs, JOUAV was sanctioned by the U.S. Department of Defense and the Department of Commerce in 2024.
