Professor DONG Keyong is currently Secretary-General of Tsinghua PBCSF Pension Finance Forum 50, while serving as Chief Expert of Research Center for China Insurance and Pension Finance, Tsinghua PBCSF. He founded China Ageing Finance Forum in 2015, spearheading the development and improvement of China’s pension system, and has served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Annual Report on the Development of China’s Retirement Finance for eleven consecutive years.
From 1984 to 2019, Professor Dong was served the Dean of the School of Public Administration
and Policy and the Dean of the School of Labor and Human Resources in Renmin University of China accordingly. With a long-standing research focus on labor economics, human resource management, and social security, his current work centers on the field of pension finance. He also appointed as vice-chairman of Chinese Society of Social Insurance and a member of the China National Committee on Aging. He was a visiting professor of the Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan, and held adjunct professorships at the China Academy of Governance and several other leading domestic universities.
Professor Dong has spearheaded dozens of high-level research projects commissioned by the National Science Foundation, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, the World Bank, the European Union, and the Asian Development Bank. He has published more than 100 articles in prestigious academic journals, including Management World, Journal of Public Management and Population & Economics, etc.
