In 2025, he co-founded Yichang Capital together with Mr. Zhixin Cao, a third-generation member of the patriotic Hong Kong entrepreneur Cao Guangbiao family. He currently serves as Co-Founding Partner and Vice Chairman of Yichang Capital.

Xu has deep expertise in hard-tech investment, focusing on cutting-edge sectors such as chips and semiconductors, green energy, artificial intelligence, and data security. He previously founded Ningbo Quxing Technology and served as its CEO; the company was acquired by a Hong Kong-listed company in 2022, giving him extensive hands-on experience in industrial operations and corporate capitalization.

He is skilled in coordinating primary and secondary market activities, possesses comprehensive investment and M&A capabilities, and has developed a post-investment value-added closed loop encompassing "technology commercialization — order matching — capital acceleration — orderly exit." He also leverages industrial resources from the Yangtze River Delta region to connect portfolio companies with practical application scenarios.
