Sopnendu Mohanty is the Group CEO of the Global Finance & Technology Network

(GFTN), a global convening, advisory, and investment firm established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Previously, he served at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as its first Chief Fintech Officer for nearly a decade, helping establish Singapore as a leading global center for financial innovation and FinTech. He also serves on the board of the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research in Singapore. Before his leadership role in the public sector, he spent nearly two decades at Citigroup. He advises governments and institutions on policies and implementation strategies for innovation, infrastructure, and ecosystem development in the financial sector.
