Mr.Zhu joined the Monetary Authority of Macao (AMCM) in 2007, and has been serving as the advisor of the Board of Directors of AMCM. He used to work at the People’s Bank of China (PBC) Guangzhou Regional Office with various divisions and positions. He also served as both the presidents of PBC Guilin and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE) Guilin. During his term of office, he was the deputy of local government NPC and member of the Financial and Economic committee of Guilin NPC.

Mr.Zhu graduated from the Guangzhou Institute of Foreign Languages in 1984, and joined the PBC Guangdong in 1985. During the tenure, he was selected to train overseas such as at ANZ Bank and the Reserve Bank of Australia in 1990, which was financed by UNDP. In 1995-1996, he studied at the University of Wales with a scholarship and obtained the Master’s degree in banking and finance. In 2000-2001, he competed to participate in the British Overseas Placement Scheme, which was financed by the British Council, to work at the internet bank-egg of Prudential Group Plc and the Cerberus Financial Software Company.
