Dr. Chenyang Wei is currently the Research Fellow of Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance, while serving as Director of Cornell-Tsinghua Dual Degree Finance MBA Program, Director of the China Insurance and Pension Finance Research Center, Secretary General of Tsinghua PBCSF Pension Finance Forum 50 and Global Forum of Real Estate Finance. His research and teaching interests cover Fintech, insurance and pension finance, financial regulation and real estate finance, etc. He also serves as Associate Dean of Beijing FinTech Institute.

His previous work experience includes: former General Manager and Chief U.S. Economist of Zenity Holdings (North America); Head of Credit Research at American International Group (AIG); Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and Economist at New York Fed. He has more than 15 years’ experience in the US financial industry and has published extensively on top-tier academic and policy journals. In recent years, he has also undertaken a number of policy and industry research projects regarding the financial industry in China.
