Dr. Nie Qingping is the former Chairman of China Securities Finance Corporation Limited. ‌Prior to that, he has served in various capacities, including Deputy Division Chief of the Market Division 1 at the Financial Administration Department of the People’s Bank of China (PBoC) , Deputy Director of the Overseas Listing Department at the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), Acting President and Party Secretary of Everbright Securities, Managing Director of China Everbright Holdings, and Vice Chairman & Secretary-General of the Securities Association of China(SAC).

With over three decades of experience in securities regulation and investment banking, Dr. Nie has contributed to China’s stock market pilot system design, supervised overseas listings of major state-owned enterprises in Hong Kong, New York, and London, and participated in capital market legislation. His research focuses on international monetary systems, financial regulation, capital markets, investment banking practices, and comparative financial governance.
