Mr. Gao Xiqing is the Yu-tong Cheng Chair Professor at Tsinghua University School of Law. He has served as a trustee on the Duke University board, a member of the Advisory Council of Duke Kunshan University since 2014, an honorary chair of the Apple Charity Foundation in Ali, Tibet. Mr. Gao has also served as either a member or the chairman of arbitration panels for hundreds of international trade or investment disputes between Chinese and foreign companies, under the CIETAC, HKIAC and the Arbitration Institute of Stockholm Chamber of Commerce. His previous positions include the Vice-Chairman and CEO of BOC International (the investment banking arm of Bank of China in Hong Kong.), Vice-Chairman of CSRC, Vice-Chairman of the National Council for Social Security Fund of China，as well as President and Chief Investment Officer of China Investment Corporation.
