Professor Frank Song is the Dean of Economics and Management School, Wuhan University. He had been a Professor of Economics and Finance in the School of Economics and Finance, and Director of China Financial Research, University of Hong Kong. He was educated in China and USA and received his Ph.D. from Ohio State University in 1991.

  Professor Song has written extensively on banking and corporate finance, financial market and the Chinese economy. His publications appear in top economics and finance journals such as Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Money, Credit, and Banking; Journal of Business, Economic Journal, American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Journal of Development Economics and also in top Chinese economic journals such as China Social Science and Economic Research Journal.

  Professor Song also served in various committees of the Government of the Hong Kong SAR and Chinese local governments. He has also written several influential policy reports.
