Mr. Ning Tang is the founder and CEO of CreditEase, a global fintech leader specializing in inclusive finance and wealth management. He studied mathematics at Peking University and earned a bachelor’s degree in economics at the University of the South in the US. During his early career, Mr. Tang joined Wall Street investment bank Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he worked on IPO, bond issuance and M&A in the areas of financial services, telecommunications, media and technology.

  In 2006, Mr. Tang founded CreditEase in Beijing. After over 13 years of development, CreditEase has become one of China’s leading fintech companies focusing on inclusive finance and wealth management. In December 2015, CreditEase listed its online consumer finance and wealth management subsidiary, Yirendai, on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE:YRD), the first fintech company IPO from China in the global capital markets.

  Mr. Tang serves as Chairman of Beijing Internet Finance Association. CreditEase serves as member of Standing Committee of National Internet Finance Association of China as well as Vice Chairman of China Micro-credit Companies Association.
